as a favor from Fred, since technically Enterprise did create Fred in the first place.

I am BORLAN, the Battle-Oriented Logical Analyzer.  I am responsible for maintaining and use of all offensive and defensive technologies.  In other words,

I make sure the weapons and shields work. I was made for war and I’m good at it. Part of war is knowing who your enemy is. Linda will take care of who our friends are .I shall define our enemies.
